pro tip: For baby’s first haircut let her bring her favorite toy and watch her favorite movie. It should go pretty smooth. In our case, pictured above, I was holding the iPad while Lena watched Madagascar Escape 2 Africa and was holding “Alex the Lion.” Now, the penguins on the smock were not the Penguins of Madagascar, but it was still a nice touch and fit in with the theme. All of these elements combined is what I believe contributed to our overall success in this mission. The cool part was, that after the haircut, we went to Stogie Joe’s and Lena watched the balance of the movie while Shan and I actually got to sit and eat our meal … I was also able to squeeze in two Dogfish Head beers. Last night was a good night.
